Went to this last year, Amazing!

http://www.eastofenglandbikers.com/?Local_Events:Fenman_Classic_Bike_Show

The villagers offer up their lawns and driveways for hundreds of bikers to park up on.
There were bikes of every make and age, and some very unusual beasts too :-)
Last year there was food, drink, bands, auto jumble.

Well worth a day out, I cant go by bike this year cos i'll have the kids, but it'll be an interesting day for them too so we may go by car.

I may be up for this, is it age related on bike? Also is it pre booked ticket or arrive and pay?
Cheers Lloyd

Nothing to pay, its open to everyone. Just turn up, get parked and wander round. There'll be hundreds if not thousands of bikes there, seriously parked on the locals front lawns and everyone just milling around and chilling. Well worth a visit!

Edit - we definitely didnt pay last year to visit, I guess the £3 entry is if you want to enter your bike into the show, sorry I dont remember what the classes were.

Edit again!! - These are the classes from 2009 -'The show entrants were grouped into large British, medium British, small British, foreign between 1960 to1980, post-war pre-war, former racing machines, owners' clubs and so on.

I'm going via Norwich and I only live a few minutes away. If any of you fancy a ride up to Norwich and back picking up a Duke or to on the way you're most welcome to join me.

You only pay a couple of quid to enter the show (a few nice old bikes) and the autojumble. I think I'll be wandering back and forth all day.

watson do you own that yellow curvy with that nasty loud can. Think I've seen you about in King's Lynn....your bike has got 6 gears you know:rolleyes:

I'm in King's Lynn. You work at Palm....I thought you had to be German.

Why would you hold an SV in gear? Cause they're guttless really (oops i'll be banned from the org for sure)

GERMAN!! No thanks just work for the slave drivers! I'm carrot cruncher born and bred!

Don't think my post read right above, I too don't know why you would rev out an SV. I love the tourqe, and that thumping feeling when it's pulling through a too higher gear!:shaking:
