What caliper's from what bikes will fit the SV650? What adapters are out there to change from stock? Not just the GSXR ones. Is there any way to fit some nice Brembo jobs from an old Ducati or something? If really just looking to do something different rather than gain performance. I see lots of nice Brembo bits from old RSV's on eBay. There pretty cheap and would make a nice change if I could figure out how to mount em. So what are my options?

Nothing other than standard calipers will fit straight on. Both Curvy and Pointy share calipers with other bikes - but only the same ones as standard.
Just about anything can be used if you can make suitable plates, torque arm etc to mount.
What bike have you got?

To my knowledge nothing straight swaps onto the stock front ends.

A lot a people would get a mounting bracket made but wait for what other people suggest

I've a K3 pointy myself.
I know that SV-racing-parts have adapters for GSXR 4 pots but I want somthing different.
Is there a standard caliper size where I could have an adapter made that would fit a whole range of different options?

Are you wanting to change because you don't feel they are good enough, or because you fancy a bit of bling? Rebuilding stock will be cheaper than retro-fitting something else.

They also make brackets for the Nissin calipers found on CBR600 F4

I'm only looking for bling

Would be nice to fit some Brembo's. Lots are available for reasonable money.

You need to also make sure you either use the mastercylinder off the donor bikes calipers or get an upgraded mastercyclinder if your fitting big calipers. 6pots and big piston calipers only work better when enough fluid is pumped into them. Mastercylinders and calipers are pretty much matched together by manufacturers to give the best feel.
