Had the wettest ride home tonight(and was only wearing jeans) anyways the bike cut out about 10 times on my way home, when it was iddleing at about 1300rpm the revs would start blipping but down and then cutting out and would take a few turns to fire up again, also a few times when restarting it it backfired so loud you would think it was a gunshot.

It was the worst ride home,****ing rain and having to keep pulling over with hazard lights on.

Any ideas what the problem is,seems it could be wet plug syndrome but I have no mechanical knowledge should I take it into a dealer.

PS Its a k4 point

i find it strange that so many people have this problem, my sv has nothing but the wee rubber flap hanging down from the radiator and its never done this in the rain..... hopefully never will tho lol at least i know what to look out for if it does!
