First thread on here... about my 1st pair of Motorbike boots,
Yes I know we would all love a pair of sidi's or daytonas but Id like to praise the NITRO 101 RACE BOOT.
2 days before by test in 2008 I had £70 and 30 mins to get a bargin boot so I could be fully kitted out on the day. I found them on my GF's catalog and I must say they have been worth every penny.
Yes they took a while to soften up but after a few days I could run about in them and I managed to cover roughly 2000 miles with out a single stich coming loose.
They are now though coming to an abrupt end in life with both sides splitting and one zip coming off but they have served me well!.

Can anyone recommed my next pair.... Baring in mind I have 2 young kids and a missus who likes to shop Id like to find a deal.... Upto £100 and that will easily last another year of commuting and sunday rideouts.

what size are you - I've got a set of alpine stars race boots that are too small for me - I think they're 9 1/2. Any use? - only worn a couple of times.

Thank you for the offer mate but they will be too small for me aswell - I just about fit into a 10 but I appreciate the offer. Cheers

I'd recommend TCX competizione , my (goretex version) cost £160 and they've covered nearing 10 times the mileage of your nitros ;)
Very comfy boot...and (properly) waterproof too!

Just got a pair of these 101's and find them very stiff do they take long to soften up?
