i just scared the crap out of some polish bloke :(

been sat here for a while playing the xbox. In the middle of a hardcore game and the doorbell goes which i ignored, then again so i looked out the window to see some bloke stood next to my car trying to look into the house. He then turned around and started looking into my car.... after a few seconds he walked up to his van and i naturally assumed he was buggering off but i decided to watched im anyway.

he got into his transit and started reversing it down my driveway....... me being me thought "wtf is his game", grabbed my snooker cue and walked out to ask wtf he thought he was doing........................

was completely misunderstanding, he had come to wash some ones car but got the wrong address and thought mine was the car to be washed, he was most appoligetic and so was i, he showed me the adress he had, the number was right but it turned out he was in the wrong area so i kindly gave him directions .... last i could do

i do feel bad, temper temper :shaking:

Did he look genuine? Because a fake address trump is a commoner on "The Real Hustle"

That aside, I never knew you could have come-to-my-house-and-wash-my-car services! I might do that for a bike. Saves me sitting on it through a Shell station carwash..

its what up to no gooders do. they ring the bell to make sure nobody is in, then go about their pilfering ways. if somebody answers they say im looking for so and so and give an incorrect name or address.

personally i reckon widey was right in his suspisions, maybe not so on his actions :D

We had somebody ring our doorbell twice, and my mum was busy so didn't answer, so they got some ladders, climbed over the garage into our garden, then started setting up against our upstairs windows, they claimed they were window cleaners. I think my mum went berserk and they did a "We're so sorry, must be the wrong address and did a runner"

could be a new type of criminal on the loose...

ring doorbell... "excuse me, but i'm here to steal your car, but thought i'd let you know so you can report it now, so then my getaway will be interesting"
