Had to share this, posted on another forum. There are some strange ones around.

How about this.................

My Son and Daughter-in-law recently moved into their new home about 2 months ago. Apart from the usual delays and problems getting contracts exchanged etc., everything went relatively smoothly.

Now the other day, bearing in mind this is 2 months after they've moved in, the previous owner of the house turns up on the doorstep sporting a spade!!

He says "I've come for my dog".

Now the son-in-law hasn't got a clue what he means, there was no 'dog' left behind in the house, and nothing in the contracts etc., about a 'dog'.

Turns out, sometime ago the chap had buried his dead dog in the garden and he had come back to dig it up and take it away !!! God knows what condition the 'corpse' was in but my son-in-law let him dig it up.

Not sure I would have!

Ewwwww!

Now that's love for you - even after death he wants his dog with him.

Bloody hell that's got to be bollox...

Just buried mine, fairly sure he's staying planted... if only for the amount of sweat and blood to dig a hole that size...

they do say a dog is a man's best friend, and by this guy coming to retrieve his dog, he obviously doesn't have many other friends, crazy stuff

Sympathy? Pfft.

As per the contract, it's my dog corpse now. I'd sell it back to him, for a reasonable fee...:smt045

Well no one is digging up the wife, it took me months of digging to get that patio down. She is staying planted, no matter how much she shouts about it.

?I know, I shouldn't joke about under the patio. Like I said it took me months to get that right. she is under the back lawn that could do with serious work.

Oi Mr Lancashire plodery, the wife is under Tim's back lawn. You had better bring your spades and dig up all that clay that prevents proper drainage. The woman in the house is definitely not the woman I married, it is invasion of the body snatchers. They have put her under the lawn.

Must be some of the Lancashire Constabulary on "Gardening Leave" to give Mr Tim's lawn a turnover;)
