First black stig was fired for revealing his identity. Then they got ben collins in to becoem new stig but his first job was to do the HMS invincible thing with the Jag where they cannon'd it off in the end in a big to haox killing black stig before indroducing new white stig the following week.

Most peoples suspicions were confirmed that Ben was the stig when he was listed on the accident report when richard flipped the rocket car in York. Suprises me that he's decided to publish it though because despite everyone knowing it, he still had deniability. Now he's sure to loose his job as the stig.

On a side note a woman at work who's now realyl confused is insisting they've got the wrong bloke and that schumacher is infact the stig "because she saw him on the show" We've tried to explain it but she just thinks we're all taking the ****.

Although, interviews with the stig would sell better than interviews with Ben Collins, I spose he needed this whole thing to go public just because most people would see "ben collins - autobiography" on the shelf and wonder who he was. Now people know he IS the stig he might be able to sell a few.

Contracts like this are only enforceable if they are legal in the first place.You can write what you like into someones terms and conditions but if a court decides those terms were unreasonable or contravene human rights,custom and practice or any other accepted norm they are null and void.
Its a bit like the sign that says "We accept no responsibility if our negligence maims you"

i think he's completely right to be annoyed, as I am a viewer and i am quite annoyed, but moreso disappointed that The Stig has decided to reveal himself... purely for money reasons, as otherwise an ex-Formula 3 driver wouldn't sell many autobiographies.

i would love to see the half black half white, but in all honestly i reckon they will keep him white, just get a new guy...

reason being over the past couple year it's become such a worldwide icon, like all of The Stig merchandise you can now get is bleedin awesome, so purely because of that I think they'll just replace the driver :)

it is when they're specialist challanges but notice how they say "stigs american cousin" or "stigs truck driving cousin" if its stig it usually is stig but if its someone else then it always comes with another title "stigs african cousin" for eg.

Yes there is more than one. The Stig as a concept was just a way to use whichever driver is most convenient but for it to appear to always be the same person.

When they had that Maserati MC12 on the Stig was played by the owner, and I'd wager that there have been dozens of people that have worn the "The Stig" suit for Top Gear over the years.
