I've just rang them and they've got incredible deals on Tyres, and they're fitted to the bike rather than loose.

Think I'll give Arnolds a miss and get over there probably late morning, I'll know more precise times later

Dudes

Got to iron out the details with the boss but I wanna try and get there for 11am, probably take them an hour to fit the tyres. Don't know how well the prices have been advertised (there was fook all on the website, only revealed by a phone call) but it could be busy. Then a spot of lunch and a bimble?

Ill speak to rob, we could always drop in on ralph for a coffee (obviously with his permission), that would be a nice ride over there.

Recently had Avon Storms fitted 120x70x17 front 160x60x18 rear, balance/valves/casing disposal £194. BUT phoning helps + ensures what you may want is in stock. Fitting time 20mins (loose wheels).

I was there at about 11:30 in the car with the wife and two kids. Saw some things for sale but not much. The new tyre centre and bike section looks really good.

Saw a nice black 59 plate SV650s parked up and a silver Sv650s. They have a decent looking 04 plate Sv1000S for sale at £3500!!

Nice to meet you all again and of course Zobers and friend (sorry did'nt remember name). Baggy If the black SV was round the rear I guess it was mine, the other Orgers were parked at the front at the time you were there, sorry we missed you.

Ta for the ride etc earlier guys, enjoyed it except when following rob and rusty after just leaving zobers on a tight right hander and an old duffer farmer dude decides to cross the road on the bend and not look my way, had to brake quite hard while cornering, almost a brown trouser moment.
Apart from that really enjoyed that road :)

Nice to catch up with people today. :D

We spoke to the chap on the yellow curvy and pointed him to the forum, so hopefully he'll show up!

Just realised that of all us Org-ers parked out the front, not one of us was still on an SV. No wonder people didn't know who we were! :D

Well you should have worn it.

I'll take that as a compliment because you really don't want me ranting. To be fair, I do know most of those roads off by heart. :D

An yes, you assumed right. His name was Foz, he's not on here though.

And Russ, I was comtemplating bringing the cup to make sure everyone recognised me.

how was the R1 ride zobers??

zobers
06-09-10, 09:55 AM
The R1 was interesting. Not for me. It felt like a big twin, the big bang engine just wasn't my cup of tea. I think I'd probably be better on an older one, or even better a zx10r!

The power is immense but I can see that getting me into real trouble with the plod. My licence wouldn't be with me for very long. Every speed feels slow, I thought taking it down the A6 first (dual carriageway) would be a good idea, I looked down and the number was somewhat bigger than I thought.

I think if I had it for a few months I'd absolutely love it but quite happy with my 6 for now. :)

Ps I'm up at Donnington at the moment trying to score a few sessions (unlikely at the mo unless a poor unfortunate has to 'withdraw')

The whole place is really overgrown and rundown. It's really sad. Track looks wicked though and the weathers good although pretty gusty

Holiday? What's that? Thought you were constantly on it anyway.

Not gonna go there, I, for one, do not belong in the kitchen :P How rude! I'll mention that to your missus next time I see her, I am sure she will put you right. (We all know you're scared of her ;) , "must get back for three otherwise I'll get told off" lol) Love ya really Russ.
