I have kept track a little on my mobile in hospital, and was
MOST AMUSED by this rather large faux pas mister YC.
However I did try not to laugh too much, as its a little difficult and hurts:shaking:

Now.
Many many thanks to all you guys for the well wishes and congrats.
I am home, unfortunately I hoped and prayed I wouldn't have a c-section forced upon me, but little man was having a difficult time in there, so they made me have him out.
Those on FB have known things haven't been easy, but I haven't said what.
I have had a few large obstacles against us. One is some hefty lumpy things that women get from time to time, so little man got to play with a few footballs that grew with him as he did.
The next was little man didn't want to grow to the scale that the 'experts' would have liked. He is a tiny tot.
Along with these, his little eco system slowed down last week, and ground to a halt on Thursday, and his heart rate dropped randomly when hooked up to a monitor....so Dizz got her orders to behave.:(
However, after me being a big girls blouse, in the theatre, he came out kicking and screaming.....and is very much a little fighter.
He will be in the special baby unit for perhaps over a week, hes on an IV drip and is being weaned slowly onto milk....compared to ounces that normal babies have hes in MLs.
I will post pics shortly, and I will tell you all hes already practising his bike hanging technique. He looks like he'll be right at home with clip ons:smt045
I doubt I'll be on a bike as quickly as intended, things are slower than they should be, but early days eh.

You get your rest love, I'm sure your two boys at home are taking good care of you.
Gis a bell when your up for a vist and we'll crack the champs.
Can't wait to see little big feet lol.
Sorry to hear you had a tough time of it Dizzy. I hope the midwives and docs looked after you well. I'm sure the wee man will be home soon enough.

I can't thank the midwives and doctors enough.
The consultants were very efficient in taking good careful decisions. The surgeons and anaethetists had a very difficult patient, Dizzy might be as hard as nails on many occasions but is no good when having needles and sharp objects around. Having done both the catflap and the sun roof option, I will always say hands down, giving birth is far far easier than having surgery. I don't need pain control for that one, and nobody needs to come near sharp objects! Those women thinking c-sections are the easy option are sadly mistaken.
The Special Care Baby unit ladies are absolutely superb in their job, they have so many babies in there and they never forget who needs what and who has their little quirks.
Right now Daddy has gone in to say night night, deliver his feeds for the night and nappies.....who wants to bet he'll be changing one? cause the ladies have him wrapped round their fingers :-)

Nice to see you home, my wife hated being stuck there, especially with our No1 giving her so many problems. So hopefully you'll recover quicker at home Dizz.
I've never enjoyed any of my stays.
Best wishes for the little man, hope he gets home soon too.
Take it easy (like I know anything about it:rolleyes:)

Awww Lou, I am so glad you are home now and very glad that Oliver is such good hands. The nurses and consultants that work on those wards are incredible and they rightly deserve the praise you are giving them, but hopefully, he'll be away from them and home with you before you know it.
Big but gentle hugs to you huni and make sure you get plenty of you time to rest up and recover. Peg and Dylan too, I bet it's been a bumpy ride for everyone.
