Just traded in for a 2007 SV650S with full fairing. It's the dark red (crimson?) color. I love this bike and the attention I get from pedestrians.

Now that I have this beautiful machine, I want to know what it is capable of--so I was wondering, if ya'll have the time, please post a link to your favorite topic in here and I'll check it out pronto.

I really want to rig up a red light kit inside the fairing to make it look demonic at night.

I have not been able to get my phone's camera loaded onto my computer, however I did find this identical specimen online:

Trying to look up "cavtastic" on urbandictionary.com, lol. I found 'chavtastic' instead. And if you mean Type of sad person that knows nothing about cars. Usually finds underage girls attractive--Then I say to that, I'm American! Go all out or go home right? I j/k!

But here's a real picture of my bike (and my god son):

I've decided I'm going to put red led's inside fairing (for better visibility!); which is legal. And also, I think I'm going to get a "Stubby" exhaust system from Delkevic because it's only $160 US and I can take the baffle out, also surprisingly legal here in Oklahoma. Here's a pic:

Had to look up bananaman on wikipedia.org. And I wish, sounds like a righteous dude.

I'll ride to anywhere in the US (maybe even Canada) if there is a SV rally! How are the twisties in Virginia? I imagine they're tight. Here in Oklahoma the closet thing to a curvy road is a round-a-bout (sadness). So all I'm left with is beating fox-bodies off the line.

very nice, but LEDs......naaaa

however i do think a black screen and some dark red wheel rim stripes would go very nicely on that

i do like the idea of the LED's, but i feel sorry for your tyres having no real twisties, hope they dont square off too soon

I'd do reflective red strips, but that is hott. And you mean put a black screen right in there covering the headers and water cooler? That would look tight, I need to find a picture of that.

Last bike's first set squared in no time, but I was scared, I now make normal intersections into twisties, put it into high rpms and take the turns at ridiculous angles to scare the pedestrians and scratch the tires, got about 1" (EDIT: 2.54 cm) untouched on the rear tire right now, which is not bad for central Oklahoma area. Need to find more 15 mph on ramps to highways. Don't worry I wear a helmet!

is it a law where you are to wear a helmet? cos im sure there are some places where you have to and some places where you dont....

There is no law here to wear a helmet, only eye protection (sunglasses goggles etc.) So when I'm commuting or going to the store I usually wear a baseball cap backwards and WWII style goggles; the girls just don't know what to think. Won't let them ride though because they get the seat wet.

Howdo, oh you've got a girls bike.

I know right? I do think the clip-ons are too low for any girl I know though. Thankfully I'm not 6'5" (1.95 m) or else it would look like I'm riding a micro machine. Soon, however, I will have a stubby exhaust system that will make the bike sound like a Harley with a nice gurgling noise. I know a silencer is there for a reason, but I just think an un-baffled v-twin is sexy.

I do believe Zed is dead (Pulp Fiction)

I have the stones to wear the kilt.
And lo,
the Devil doesn't
want to get his a*se kicked by a guy in a skirt.
lol, that's awesome. But who says the devil doesn't lose on purpose. It's a tough road to enlightenment. Besides, kilt vs B? The kilt will win every time!

Thanks for the post. I think amber lights might keep the men in blue at bay. Read up on the law a little bit and red, purple, green, blue are taboo. Either orange, yellow or white leds is the way to go (atleast in Oklahoma USA)
