Yay, used the Virgin LimoBike today to get to the office in London from Euston station.
Much more fun than the tube :-)

Lmao nice one, funny I've been thinking for years if you could make a business out of "taxi bikes" but never followed through =p

It was quite reasonable too, cost £10 Euston to Blackfriars. Took me 8 minutes to get there :-)
A little more than the tube obviously but cheaper than a taxi.
Oh I'm liking this. Do you have to book in advance, or can you stick your arm out like you would with a taxi?
I have a trip down the smoke planned soon... I have to get to EC2, some solicitors near Moorgate underground, how cool it would be to turn up on a bike. Think I'd bring my own lid though cos then I could walk in to a stuffy meeting carrying it.

Ed, you need to book in advance really to avoid any dissappointment. I'll PM you the details. Really friendly bunch. I didnt bother taking a lid, they provide everything you need.

Pah - I don't need this sort of service to get me from Lord's to Soho - as there are always kind offers of a lift on a Friday night from one of Frifth Street hotties ;)

It means that you are in for the ride of your life...baby!
certainly nothing dodgy about the riders that shuttled me through London last week. Very friendly, totally safe and certainly not fast.

Website seems to say minimum fare is 30 quid? You on mates rates or is it just out of date?

They spoke about this on the one show the other day, some stand in presentor used it to get into the show.
He seemed impressed.
