So here is Oliver.
Friday Morning
Saturday morning and weaning from Drip to feed begins

Today
We're hoping the drip has gone when we get back to the hospital tonight. Its not pleasant having it stuck out of his foot, or his hand. He will be fed through the nose until hes ready to start feeding properly

Ooh Dizz, hes soooo lovely!!! And soooo tiny!!! How much does he weigh?
And I hope hes back home with you soon, it must be unimadginably (is that a real word?) difficult being apart :-(
Just give yourself time to recover properly from the c-section. I was playing chase in the park 2 weeks after my last one when I tripped and caused huge problems with my wound, and got an IMMENSE bollocking off the midwife, oops!:-)

How much does he weigh?
He weighed about 5lbs I think. 2.28 kilos.

congratulations the both of you. make the most of these special, precious times cos trust me they dont last forever. before you know it they demand stuff with no manners but lots and lots of attitude.
but its not all depressing, when they're older they leave home.

Tell me about it, we've already got Kevin at home(aged 8) now we'll have Perry too!!
At least one will be ready to fly the nest, to give us time to prepare for the next teenager when it comes:p

lovely pics. I didnt think he looked that small when you were holding him. Then saw pic of his dad drip feeding him and you could see how small he was. Libby went down to 5lb something, we have her first baby grow, hard to believe she used to fit into it, now she is out riding her quad bike and chasing the neighbours cat. Hope he puts on lots of weight soon and is home where he belongs. xx
