Hi all,
Just after some opinions on the SV for sale in this link that my friend is looking at buying....
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201015356763916/sort/priceasc/usedbikes/model/sv/make/suzuki/quicksearch/true/postcode/gu152qj/page/6/radius/40?logcode=p
Do you think its a reasonable price? Any ideas as to why they are offering engine & gearbox warranty only rather than just a general warranty?
Thanks in advance :)
Should imagine because that's the main 2 things they'll need to cover.
With winter coming up, you'd probably get some **** clown saying that his forks have corroded and can he have some as a free replacement :)

That looks and sounds incredibly clean!
Always good when an advert is well written and well presented too

yeh mate-its so cheap due to the location-if any orgers need a stopover if they fancy it just let us know-there's a young skywalker at work who is gonna be a tad peeved as he's just bought a brand new sv but was looking for a bike like this for a while.
'tis a bit steep, privately is much cheaper and in all honesty, the money you save can put it through a service. 3 months engine + gearbox warranty is pretty much the norm.
It's not always been standard. Someone has at some time fitted a race can to it and put it back to standard again. This doesn't make it any less desireable, but it's worth bearing in mind.

Thanks for all the replies guys, however, my mate didnt bother waiting for me to get back to him with some org opinions and has rather hastily put a £100 deposit down on the bike
Thanks anyway everyone

picked up my 2007 plate with 11,000 miles on it this time last year for £2500 it came with most the mods you'd expect too, screen, tail tidy, zaust cowl etc...

I know it's a bit late, but man I wish mine looked like that instead of the mixture of electrical tape, fibre glass mapping and bubbling case paint that's currently adorning it (will rectify after winter!)
Has he ridden it yet?
i would say that's well above what your friend should pay, and as shown, you can get just a clean if not better, for anywhere £2500 and south of that.
