Bit geeky I know.

Shuttles are coming into retirement soon :( IMO one of mans greatest ever machines ever built. They’ve made some celebratory posters for each of them. They are quite big but quite good.

Dammm that film was so far fetched it was untrue.

Space walk fights with laserbeams. A space station that falls back to earth with 2 survivours. Epic fail that one  Not one of the best bond films.

What about Enterprise, it never made it into space as I recall, but it was used for test flights? :D

It also fails to follow the book in any way. The book was about a missile not a space station!

Edit* Beat me to it trev

Wasn't an "official" shuttle as the design changed so extensivly that it was cheaper to build Challanger, than to retrofit Enterprise.

Likewise the russian shuttle, but that acutally made it to ordit, just once.

Lemmie find the link...

And the Buran Russian attempt. But was un-manned, but performed perfectly. Destroyed by a hanger collapse.

Buran, as listed above. But it was russian, and destroyed.

Done the astronaught training day in Florida space centre (not the Kennedy SC). Met Robert Springer, done some training. Was an epic day :D
