Second service question

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm a newbie.

I recently bought a K9 and looking throught he service manual it had its 600 mile service done in March 2009 but no service since. What is the best advice to follow - wait until 4000 miles or get one done now? The bike has now covered approx 2500 miles.

It would be best to get the 4,000m service done. This is due at 12mths or 4,000m whichever is sooner.

Bear in mind you have probably lost your warranty from Suzuki as a result of not getting it done within 12 months.I hope you didnt pay too much for it assuming it was "under warranty"

I realised that the Suzuki warranty would be affected at the time of purchase and agreed with the dealer that he would cover warranty repairs until December when the Suzuki warranty ends.

In any case I got it for a steal given age and mileage!
