For those of you that have been to my house either sociably or after the ice cream run last year and met the hairy Appollo, I am sad to say that tonight Appollo went to sleep and wont be waking up.

He has been poorly for a wee while and yesterday he went to the vet hospital in Glasgow for some tests. Unfortunately they are unable to do anything to make him better and we had to make the decision that we didn't want him to suffer anymore.

We will miss you millions Appollo, you have been an important part of our lives for the last 10 years. Sleep well my faithful hairy friend we love you and miss you millions x x x x x x x x x x

Oh no, never met him but so many photo's and such a lovely dog. R.I.P Apollo.

Sorry to read about it, when Murphy dies I'll be lost.

You'll never replace him of course, but maybe there will be another? My uncle gets regular info about GSD's in Fife and surrounding areas that need re-homed if you want to put some feelers out.

Always makes me cry when someone posts this kind of thing. They really do become part of the family. So sad, feel for you so much x

RIP Apollo, I gladly did get to meet him and he was a gorgeous dog, just sat there while Samson yawped at him.

My heart goes to you and your family Ricky, just remember what a wonderful 10 years you gave him xxx
