Glad you enjoyed it, the blue is an ace colour, 2nd only to black, if my dealer would have had blue at the time i would have had that.

Bikes are brilliant aint they :)

Yeh the first few miles were full of teething problems and jerky manouvering but we settled our differences and started to get on after a while :p

I have to say Im sore now. Need to get used to the riding position!

The title says first ride out, does this mean that you passed your test recently if so then well done.
I passed my mod 2 (first time) on tuesday and I love getting out and riding, infact ive done 115 miles since yesterday (and ive been working both days too) :)

Congratulations on the test and the riding.
Bike looks ace!
Once you get a little experiance (and confidence) on the SV you'll be getting even more smiles to the mile. :)
Enjoy!

Big congrats!

Bike looks awesome, won't be that shiny after a few weeks of riding i bet!

I found the soreness went away quite quickly, try and get a few decent runs under your belt and you will soon adapt your riding position so that it hurts slightly less and then you will get used to the new position! Turning the levers down very slightly can help too
