Because I will ride her on a regular basis, and give her the occasional spanking...

Trouble is, as she's bright green, every other clown calls her Kermit..

How the hell can I ride Kermit??? Lol!

What do you call yours and why??:smt039

my old naked bike was called Jamie - yes he was a he, not a girly bike.

my sv doesn't have a name - although my mates call her the flying banana or the banana bike. I dont have a name for it - I just call it her and she, so tis a girl, cause its a pretty bike!
Normally my motors are all male, even my battered old range rover was called Bertie or Bert for short, named because he was made up out of all sorts of other bits or range rover when it got broke playing off-road (Bertie Bassett from Liquorice allsorts - get it?? hehe)

Both bikes have names, The SV is called Sylvie, because she is silver and an SV.

The XJ is called Agnes, it comes from her number plate and us being a little bit sad! :D

Wifey's bike is called Rosie, because it is red. This putting a bad light on us... ;-)

Sv was Suzie because I couldn't be original

and the Gixer is Rodney cos of the number plate.

I like to ride Rodney its much more fun than Suzie. He is fast, furious and likes it when I'm naughty although its not as much fun when its wet!!!

Jayneflakes, I do like the name 'Agnes' for the old Xj..lol Kinda sums them up I guess?

Amanda, I can't POSSIBLY comment on your post.. I'm far to innocent...

Yup, must admit I do like my motors, not modern stuff though, as they're rather bland, prefer stuff with character and a bit different etc.

I'm not really a petrol head as I aint mechanically minded, rather let someone else do those jobs - I just love to drive and ride anything and everything, drove a little mx5 round cadwell once - that was fun, and have been round with touring car driver Tim Harvey, nice guy, but passion is offroading 4x4's - hence where my nickname came from lol.

Not been for a while so ride the bike for fun instead nowadays.

But back to bike names................ dont normally name my vehicles, only named the rangie and my old bike, as they were a bit rough around the edges so had some character about them, so doubt the SV will be named as its my shiny baby. Still love it though!

The bike is called "Boomer" , first day I got it I was in a Valley and shut the throttle off , the bike burbled and boomed and echoed and brought a smile to my face . Just bought a Honda HR-V 4X4 VTEC today but have yet to name it .

<--- Fazer has been dubbed 'Dark Bluey' by Mrs Metal. My pointy was just called 'Pointy'. Car doesn't have a name, haven't named my car since my old Volvo about eight years ago (and it was 'The Vulva' except in polite company where it was 'Sven')

'The Bonfire' its what my ex mother in law said it would be if i ever bought a another bike. On a sad note she died a few years ago and when i got the bike it seemed fitting to apply the name :)

Curvy was called Clunk cause thats the noise it made going into first and nicknamed by a disfunctional org member.
Honda - Rufus becuase of the number plate
Kwak - Kev which has a really tedious link to another org member

sydney james?
thread worthless without pics :-P

My normal response to such a thread is "you bunch of f***ing fannies, it's a bike" however considering fenjer in such an outfit maybe it's worthy of serious response

My SV is called "The SV" or "the rat". My GPZ was called "the sh*tter". My SRAD was called "the SRAD" or "the mad SRAD". Yeahhh I don't really understand naming motor vehicles.

I had an Astra once that was T653 KNB - I was often referred to as a Total KNB.

My forum name comes from the name we gave our first Land Rover Defender - Boot. That got it's name from my niece suggesting our daughter (Autumn) be called either Boot or Diego when she was born.

The bike has never had a name. Plate ends CFR. As it's restricted and currently in bits, for now I think of it as 'retard', but am open to suggestions.
