Going to put the fender extender on tonight,I have taken mudguard off an it is soaking in soapy water to get rid of all the gunk.I have a 3mm drill bit and drill but have never drilled a thing in my life.Should I put electrical tape and drill through it to stop the mudguard cracking and should I drill very slowly or quickly.
Thanks in advance

Yeah thought about it but thought that there is a reason they tell you to screw it,I want it to stay on and dont have 24 hours

When I fitted the one onto my old Blandit a couple of years ago I put masking tape over where I was drilling, marked it out then just drilled. I think I went fairly quickly once it was started, hopefully someone else will come along that has fitted one more recently to help a bit more.

Fairly brisk, the general rule of thumb the smaller the drill the faster you go, but when the material gets harder you bring the speed down.
Try and put a dot punch on the area so that the drill will start exactly where you want it to, automatic dot punches are perfect for this type of thing.
Start off with it crawling and once it has started cutting increase speed and force, but not too much, let it do its own work, if you force it you could break the drill.
