I didn't see a "Welcome New people" thread so I thought I'd say hi. So, HI :). I'm Zach, I ride a K8 SVs (My second SV) and I'm in the middle of doing some upgrades. I recently did my GSXR rear shock swap and put on some Woodcraft zero rise clip-ons. Next on the list is my steering damper then full naked conversion plus some other goodies.

Personal preference. After having a bike with a damper (GSXR600) and now coming back to a bike without, I want it back. :p

Well .. after sorting the rear shock , get some good linear springs and 15 weight oil in the front and you may find that you won`t need one . I have mine set up and run it on some awesome roads and have never felt the need for a damper .

I think id like a damper, i am forever doing small wheelies when changing gears and getting little wombles.
