I'm working on an SV650S and was wondering if a TL1000S seat cowl will fit on my curvy SV6 without too much fuss? Has anyone attempted or successfully carried out such a transplant? I've seen it done once before on a silver sv cafe racer and it I dig it!
I've got the cowl from a 2000 TL and have the brackets/guts from an SV solo seat cowl (believed to be powerbronze) - I'm thinking a few new brackets and maybe a spot of fibreglass should do it but haven't had the daylight hours to play with it yet. Any advice appreciated but if nobody offers anything I'll post my findings in case anyone is interested..
As a reformed TL1000s owner it seems appropriate that it's little brother SV650S gets to wear it's hand-me-downs!
