I was out with the family in Folkestone at the weekend when I saw this SV 650 with posh monogrammed leather upholstery and a bunch of other Yams and Suzis including a very nice looking Bandit come cruising by and park up outside the Leas Cliff Hall (music venue). Only managed a few one-handed snaps while pushing the pram past ;)

What a nerve, invading on their shiny, accessorised scoots! Anyone fancy a run over to Boulogne to drink all their beer and leer at their mademoiselles, just to pay them back for their cheek?

Looks a bit like custom Bagster seats..?

Yup, easier to get over there as Bagster is a french company.

Nice looking, shame the grey isn't 100% colour matched.

I don't know why they would bother coming to England. Our roads and general driver behaviour is way below standard in comparison to theirs.

The only place in Europe I have felt more afraid on the motorways than in Britain was in Hungary last year.:shock:

Main road to Budapest at night was where the other drivers scared me the most.

They can't resist our warm beer, and I'm not so sure about our roads in comparison to theirs: Yes, they've got a lot of smooth immaculate tarmac, but I've been on some pretty cr*ppy local roads over there. You'd think it was an earthquake zone the way some of them have subsided or have that hard-to-see undulation that keeps smacking your nuts against the tank if you haven't spotted the dips and rises in time.

yeah, i wouldn't say the roads were that brill, some are easily as bad as ours.

But at least French car drivers are courteous towards bikers...british are not! :)
