Has anyone ever considered using tinted Window Spray on their windshield, or even done it? I like the look of the dark screen but before I spend around £50 on one i just wanted to make sure a £6 can of spray doesn't give the same effect!!

Oh no dont do it!
When i got my TT600 the screen had been sprayed but it looked BAD. There were fingerprint marks between screen and spray that couldnt be removed and slowly the spray started to wear away leaving clear spots.
I replaced it after a week with a proper dark tint screen.
Just my experience x
I assume you mean the screen and not the visor? :D
Give it a shot - what is the worst that can happen?
I got a tinted screen for £17 on Ebay, sometimes you get lucky;)

Here's a "cheap as chips" alternative which is easy to put back to stock..

And if you're creative you could even cut your own design before fitting.
Gotta be worth a punt at 99p.;)

I've just ordered myself a flip screen through hein gericke.
Now wierdly it was cheaper for me to order it through them than buy one myself off the internet!
Flip Screen, dark tint £39.95
Love it!
I bought a tinted screen and am very happy with it. If you are considering buying one too why not try spraying the original first.........if it looks rubbish then buy one

MB's post looks good, but a bit of bin liner would do the deed for even less. ;)

Remove screen----apply tinted film of choice to inside and refit. If you don't like it take it off and try a different tint or colour. The film will not damage your screen so you can revert back to normal with a quick polish up.
