Sadly the fact that you read that on twitter, means that it would be fast to replace fb in the wasting time stakes ;)

What's a Facebook?

It's an end of year school book stuffed with pictures of each student.

I think it's what you look through when you visit a plastic surgeon for a nose job or similar.

What's a Facebook?

Facebook is a social networking (http://forums.sv650.org/wiki/Social_network_service) website launched in February 2004 that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.,[1] (http://forums.sv650.org/#cite_note-Growth-0) with more than 500 million[5] (http://forums.sv650.org/#cite_note-500m-4) active users in July 2010, which is about one person for every fourteen in the world.[6] (http://forums.sv650.org/#cite_note-6)[N 1] (http://forums.sv650.org/#cite_note-totalactiveusers-5) Users can add people as friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves

How is sitting in a darkened room typing random crap to "friends" you've never met social networking:smt015. Personally I'd sooner go to the pub to socialise. I only use my PC for porn:shock:

People bash facebook but if like me you have moved around a bit (Liverpool, Dorchester, Southampton, Reading) it is a good way to keep in contact with people you otherwise wouldnt easily be able to. I also really like the way you can share photos so everyone can see how much of a mess your mate was last weekend :) plus you can see peoples holiday photos at your own leisure and speed without having to sit through a slideshow wanting to poke your own eyes out ('And here is another picture of a fantastic building that I just know you are going to be as enthused about as me')
Im not a loser, honest....

;) I think sitting in a darkened room typing that on a forum defines irony.
