Had a pair of storms fitted today , got a honda cbf600n as a loaner ( 60 plate) , boy was I glad to get back on the sv !

I guess I'm just really used to riding a twin , but I hated the power delivery and revs needed to get any where and the lack of engine braking on the four ,also the lack of fairing

Cheers Steveg

How long did it take them to fit the tyres??

Is that anything like a hornet? Mare of mine has one which I have ridden a bit, perfectly capable bike bit boring compared to the SV.

Had the bike for a day , as dropped in bike before having to go to work and collected on return from work

Only had chance to do around 50 miles , its really comfy but recon the 1000 version might be a better (the part faired one )

Might give one a try

Cheers Steve

I see, where did you go to get that done if you don't mind me asking? And were the tyres a good price?

I got them at Sutton Motorcycles @ Bromsgrove as only live a mile away

I normally go to central wheel Birmingham who could do a pair of storms for £200 ride in / ride out
Phoned Sutton m/cs who could not belive the price , but when I said I lived local and would like to give them the business , they said that they would price match , fair enough , they also gave me loan bike ( a 60 reg honda cbf600) for the day as could not wait due to work commitments

Seemed a good bunch to deal with

You were right until you mentioned the fairing, makes the sv look ugly.

I know what you mean about power delivery, had a go on a zr7 and it felt slow low down, no engine breaking, heavier too.
