Im buying my daughter an i-touch for her birthday and was wondering if there was a way to download music to it other than through i-tunes.
I use easynews to download my mp3s for free but dont know anything about apple downloads and dont want to be spending a fortune on itunes gift cards!!!
Thanks, KJ x

Stuff buying and downloading, get spotify on it for £10 month and listen to as much music as you want, even offline.

You can buy MP3s from Amazon and then put them on to your ipoo

You can browse your hard drive for MP3s and then iTunes will copy them all into its own big library of music (which will then be synced onto the iPod), you don't have to rebuy all your stuff through iTunes! Likewise iTunes will rip CDs into your library.

Get here a decent, non-Apple media player...
This is what I have - Cowon S9 16GB (http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/MP3_Players.1/Cowon_iAudio.15/S9-16GB/Cowon_iAudio_S9_16GB_MP3_Player___FREE_Crystal_Cas e.3580.html?amp3sid=so76tklme0u73hq6uj0bl9kht4) - it IS available as a 32GB version too
No need for iTunes, its just plug in to your PC and drag and drop files on
Long battery life for both movies and music.

^^ does it play games ? as most people are also using them as mobile game consoles and some of the games are surprisingly good mix of game play and graphics and it can run apps, web browsing, skype calls ect ect.

If you're not too late you might still be able to get the Galaxy On Fire (full version) game free off the iTunes store... I don't get my iPhone until next week but I'm pretty sure you can download stuff onto your computer and it'll then just sync onto the device later when you get it and plug it in.
I use itunes, but get my music from www.legalsounds.com
You just add something like $10, $25, $50 etc and get bigger song bonuses based on the amount you “deposit. So if you deposit 50 dollars say, you get 200 free songs, but only 90 free songs for $25.
Works out mad cheap, easy to use, and just import into itunes.
Not really that good if you only want to download one or two songs though as you have a minimum deposit. (Can`t remember the amount though.)
Just a thought.
