evening all...i'm guy a 27 yr old lad from kent had a break from biking for dare i say it nearly 7 years :silent: but luckily i see sense and got back on two wheels..

came here to learn abit about the sv as it's come on over the years and maybe i can help with some info at times too i'm starting to get wise in my young age but dont take it seriously ;)

anyways some of my biking history i started out at 17 on a nc30 and rapidly got my road confidence it handled so well it almost rode itselt but was good for being smooth and perfecting my conering abilities..it served me well untill at 18 my dad suggested i try a new'ish (year old) 99 model sv650 'naked' i see the bike and laughed i cant ride that it's a girls bike its all curvey and naked..i cant go fast without fairings!!,i took my dads advice and bought the sv and grew to like it..had some fun and commuted into london daily till one weekend i experienced the weak front end,a tankslap that resulted in me being air lifted to maidstone hospital (i rode a kmx125 a day later :D) once i was back inshape the bike got fixed and i carried on untill my teen aggression put the sv round a lamp post after some pratting about :silent: you live and you learn eh..so i moved on and had a vfr750..then a c1 zx9r and this year i got back into it and got a firestorm to take to the I.O.M for the manx gp..on returning i decided the vtr was just not economical with its thirst for fuel and habit of eating rear tyres,i decided i needed something more sutible and i guess economical for a multitude of riding from commuting to hacking round the back roads maybe even a track day or two...hmmm me thinks a sv650 what the hell i've been there before and liked it why not?

hope to see some of you around ...

I'd snigger and run away too if I had told someone a pointy was the best looking or fastest SV. :p

SV's, roads, women, doesn't matter, curvy is always better. :smt045

**Oh look, time for me to run now** ;)
