xbox 360 - it used to be called free roam under the online games menu but then it disappeared so now it's something like party mode or 'player match' or something like that - it just plonks you into any random game which has slots going :)

It's kinda strange, his recent posts didn't show anything untoward, but then the last post said "this is my last post" and that was it.... curiouser and curiouser. I too met him last year at Brands, it's a shame both of them have disappeared.

I miss Pete Henry. Those days were the best for me. Good light hearted banter. Wasn't really any rows or arguments about who's opinion was right. I've seen it happen with quite a few websites. I think people should be able to say what they think, and Daimo that includes you if you think that matters have changed, with your opinion of why.

Its the time of year, it always gets like this once the weather turns and the nights start getting darker, people get bored because they arent riding etc etc and then start having a pop at each other.

6000 miles, not once. 9500 miles total now.
But I was pre-emptive and fixed the known issues, before they became a problem ;)
Even Jap bikes have their problems, but the mags wont print those or they won't get any more free bikes ;) Smaller firms can't afford to hand out bikes willy nilly.

nah I was just being an AW ;)
it was a novel experience - I'm used to my SRAD with rock hard racing style suspension... when I swung my leg over the xt600 it actually compressed and then bounced back like a big marshmallow (nice!). The power delivery feels like an sv650 with all the power lopped off above 5k revs (it redlines at 7k)... Back wheel locks up and slides really nicely and it's strange being able to see over the roof over the car in front without sitting up straight (really really high seat - even at 6ft 2 I had to slide my arze across the seat slightly to get my foot flat on the floor...
Despite the sales guy insisting that he had one guy ringing up offering to pay for the bike at 5pm and another guy ringing asking for a test ride I decided to leave it for the night - if it's still for sale tomorrow and I decide to go for it then so be it. Woulda been too easy to rush in and leave a deposit for a mint trailie which is out of my budget!

nah, cowboy pie is like shepherds pie but it's got sliced sausage, diced bacon, beans, carrots, peas, sweetcorn, some type of gravy stuff (your choice) and mash potato with grated cheese on top... filth.
Was pushing the dish back in the oven but caught the back of my hand on the metal grill shelf thing above - 220 degrees... lovely. Fck!

I hired a XT in Spain. Horrid vibey thing, I was very pleased to give it back. I make no comment on my ability to ride the thing at the time...
