In BIKE mag, not ride?
Sorry bike, get confused with these four letter words ;)
I bought it yesterday and seen the ad with foggy.
Looks very professionally designed.
Matt,
Your overall look is very good. A couple of points though, which are hopefully constructive;
1. On my screen the home page is a wee bit jumbled in that some of the text and logos cut across the front of Claire's review.
2. I didn't realise on my first visit that I could click on the 1,2,3,4,5 box to see the problems and benefits. You might have to add "Click Here" for morons like me.:)
3. The "Find & Buy", "Find the right kit for your bike" etc, looked like clickable tabs to me and I was clicking like a man possessed to no avail.
4. I wasn't able to select a model of bike of any make - is this still work in progress?
Foggy's still cool BTW.

Videos well cool. Whats the blue liquid?
Ive had some issue clicking the tabs, have you tested it on all browsers, i.e firefox, safari, internet explorer.....

Not entirely sure, no. =P~ In fact, I was giving Matt this feedback solely on behalf of the spaz contingent.
EDIT: Just tried it on my phone and had the same issues.

Cheers mate, appreciate it.

I don't think they are meant to be clicked, although they look like they need to be clicked and nothing happens.
The middle section is a bit misleading as it reads Our Product, What We Make and then is a review by CF. I would expect here a photo of the actual product with a link to a generic page explaining what a kit usually contains and some general tips regarding installation.
Arrows on the tabs are misleading as well as you would expect to click on them and then nothing happens. The red tab is clearly marked in red so there's no need for extra arrows imho.
Reviews arrow doesn't work either but "asks" to be clicked. Generally elements on a site that are not doing what you would expect them to do, have a tendency of painting a picture of a work in progress.
When you select the bike make and model, again first reaction was to click on the green checkbox which didn't do anything. I has to look around to find the view button. Maybe move the link on the green circle or automatically redirect to page once model is selected.
Love the animation, professionally done.
I didn't mean to sound too harsh, I'm one of the biggest supporters ;)
Matt, you may want to test it in Google Chrome and Safari as they both use the Webkit rendering engine which is different than Mozilla and IE. Having said that, it renders ok on my mac on both safari and chrome.
The search function doesn't seem to return any results if you search for easy stuff like suzuki or yamaha or sv650. It does work for "comfort" :P

It's a bit of a faff and a little annoying at first go (and second), what I don't like:
The tabs do nothing!! Every good product website in the world has a tab called 'Products' or similar (you've already got it) that cuts through all the BS and takes you to straight info and pics about what it is. The front page is covered in words without telling you anything, as if it's really selling magic magnets that reduce fuel consumption, it's saying a lot about comfort but not showing what it is - coolncomfy isn't a great name either if I'm honest.
The flash isn't too bad but doesn't give anything away either, even the 'see the benefits' tab tells you feck all, you don't see anything except a silhouette and more text to tell you it's more comfortable! A little patronising, why can't you just say it's a top yoke and handlebar raiser kit to fit conventional bars to a sportsbike, clear as that, with a nice pic of the kit on the opening page.
I see you include everything such as longer cables and bars, this is a really big point! Lots of other riser kits and systems don't do that, it's really something to boast about, get it on the front page that the kits have everything you need included.
Grammar and spelling is poor, too wordy and odd mistakes "...underling knee problem"? "...which is not a good and/or comfortable thing"?
This is the good stuff in tiny text at the bottom:
Superbike performance - Touring comfort.
- No more aching wrists, neck or back.
- Ride for longer between breaks.
- Easier counter steering, added leverage.
- Smoother safer cornering, better visibility.
- Easy low speed carpark manoeuvring.
- Pillion passengers are more comfortable
Get that up the top, get rid of the BS numbers bit, nice pic of the stuff less clutter.
Don't tell me, that's what the previous site was like...
I do think your products look good! Sorry to be Simon Cowell.
What browser are you using ? I want it to be available to all. What screen resolution are you using?
Find and buy tabs are drop down menus and should work as such.
Cheers
Matt
IE7 and 1280x800.
The "Make" drop-down gives me all the makes but, once a make is selected, the "model" drop-down doesn't give me any models.

hey matts will you be doing a kit for a triumph S4
IE7 is probably not the newest version and I'm still using Windows XP rather than that new fangled Vista. I'm hopelessly out of date in all sorts of ways.:)

Hi,
What browser are you on? It should work. I will make sure it gets tested on your browser when you let me know.
Cheers

Ok, i will ask the webguys to do that tomorrow. Let me know if anymore issues arise. I designed it to be really easy to use with minimum pages to wade through to get to the info people want fast.
Cheers
Matt
That's exactly what I want when shopping. As easy as possible....
