The missus has got us tickets to go to the BSB at Oulton next sunday.
It'l be the first time i've been there. Anyone have any recommendations for the best spectator points? Also what's the access like to the circuit?
Thanks

I went there a couple of weekends ago to watch some club racing, it's a cracking circuit with loads of open areas for viewing, we went in another entrance on far side so there is more than enough access.
You won't be dissapointed :)

Access is good going in, leaving can be a bit of a nightmare if in car, but on bike it's no problem. Cascades is a good place to watch as you can see a fair bit of the track and there is a giant screen there also. If it's damp then Druids is a good place also. It's a 80-90+ mph corner with lots of camber and the trees mean the track doesn't dry as quick as the rest of the circuit which makes it interesting :D

Ahh nice one. Was looking at Druids on the map, it does look an interesting corner.
Looking forward to it! Decent present from her indoors for once!

Also, they have increased the viewing space at Druids and it is under trees so if its raining you can relatively dry :D

you won't be disappointed i have been to the last 2 BSB rounds at oulton park and it is a great day.
we watch most of the action from down near knickerbrook, then walk upto druids for the last race of the day as it is near to where we park. Knickerbrook is a great viewing point as you can see quite a bit of the track, and there is a chicane there and then a nice bend as they open up to go up the hill towards druids. we saw quite a few crashes here the last time we went.
FORCAST IS FOR NICE WEATHER SO FINGERS CROSSED!!!
enjoy your day i know i will...

Never been before - If I wind my way up the A49 is it quite well signposted?

Yeah mate, it's well signposted. Turn right before the junction with the A54, the turn is opposite a large garden centre but there will be AA roadsigns a plenty anyway and loads of bikes to follow :D
