Been writing a story over the past month or so - initially it was going to be a short flight of fancy, maybe a dozen pages, but it's grown far beyond that and I'm starting to lose the ability to self-edit.

I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to set aside a few hours to read it and give me a critique on how it is so far, and if you wanted to - notes on how it could be improved etc?

If you're interested PM me your e-mail (or reply it if you don't mind the world knowing it) and I'll send it to you :)

I'd be happy to. Give us a brief run down of the story then.

Well the basic premise centers around a pilot in a world of flying ships and incredible social-class stigma. He's from the lower classes, pilots are normally from the upper classes and as a result he gets downtrodden a lot, has to fight to get what he wants etc.

Follows him through his short but explosive and important career, also exploring the emotional turmoil of war in the sky, all-consuming rage and the view from the 'other' side (as in, he's not actually fighting for the 'goodies') among other themes.

Sounds odd but I think it's good :D

Sounds like something I'd like. PM me if you'd like an address to send it to (email or otherwise).
