I'm having real hassles trying to locate a 1989 NC30 here in NZ so I have decided to cast the net net a little further afeild, and try the UK (and possibly Japan).

I have managed to find a reasonably priced one in York and I was wondering if anyone local would be willing to swing by and give it a look to make sure it is not a complete munter! :p

Bike Trader ad is here:

http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/297246/used-bikes.htm

It is the F-reg Blue/Red/White 3 up from the bottom. :)

I have mailed the shop and am waiting to see if it is still available and I'll post on this thread if it is. PM me if anyone is able to do this! [-o<

Thanks!
Luke

Hi Luke
Can do, but my knowledge is not that great - could only give an external opinion.
It looks fit in the pics, but then they always do!
Caveat! I'm the worlds worst at buying dear & selling cheap, but this aint with my money.

Cheers all, YC is potentially going to have a look. :)

I just need to find out if the bike is still there! Grrr, this 12 hour time difference is a real pain with calling the UK so I have to rely on email, which doesn't seem to be getting a reply :(

I'm off to York tomorrow to test no fewer than 4 bikes. Should be interesting.

Yeah, I rang up yesterday an it was sold (and not to me)

Back to the drawing board. The only option I have here in NZ is a complete project with a RGV front end on it and a knocking top and bottom end! The upside is that it is cheap (by NZ standards) and the guy has the original parts, but I get the feeling it is a money pit!
