Looking to visit my brother next February, cant find a flight for less than a grand, anyone got tips for cheaper flights or ways to get there like travelling to Oz first or something???

Going for about 14-16 days.

You could look for a 'paying' boat trip. Work on board a ship whilst getting there. Dunno if that sort of stuff exists.

Failing that, its a matter of twaling the cheap flight sites. You would probably have to change a few times, but you can get there. Dont forget that February is worund thier summer, hence the price

Checkout flights to Oz first. Brisbane or Sydney.

Feb is mid summer so it's bound to be more expensive. Cost us £1050 per ticket last Christmas.

Interestingly calling Air NZ got us a better price than using their website. We Flew BA and Qantas though.

Have u tried Expedia and Opodo to search? (i'm trying to get to SA over December and the cost is also bout £1000.. ridiculous)
