View Full Version : $475 speeding ticket
Got pulled over a cuppla weeks ago in California for doing 95 in a 65. In Germany, this type of road would have easily been an unlimited speed limit.
Anyway, at the time, the sheriff/ticket didnt reveal how much it was. Got a letter today asking for $475!! Ridiculous.
Gotta pay up I guess, but would like to see them come after me if I didnt!

they will increase the fine and as you fled the state you cant go back for until its paid, everything in the southern states moves alittle bit slower for a reason, noone can afford to pay the speeding tickets.
And you shouldnt of been caught speeding, you commited the crime so pay for it, you choose to speed.
yeh obviously I chose the crime and gotta pay for it, but I mean 300quid for a speeding ticket? Thats 3-5 times more than we have here.
Annoyingly you can waive the fee by going to some driving school lessons which I obviously cant do.

If you don't pay, then you run the risk of going straight to jail if you ever go there again :p

I must have been doing 90 max and got done for 95. He was coming the other way, and turned around in the big gap between the lanes.
