Any advice?

Tend not to use the bike into the centre (just had no particular need to), but as it's nice I'm probably on the bike tomorrow, and it's highly likely I'll have to drop documents off at Lancaster Circus.

I know what the 'enforcers' are like round there for cars, but what about bikes? Is it free? Should I park in a car spot and pay? What do I do with the ticket?

Bike bays or in the bullring car park, which is also free to bikes in the special bike bit. If your dropping stuff the Lancaster circus building does have parking underneath it from the a34 Walsall road? side. You could be cheeky and ask the guy on the gate to let you put it inside for 2 minutes. Council owned buildings / carparks tend to be happy for bikes to park in the staff parking if your visiting the office.

I always used to leave mine in the Mailbox car park. There are cut outs around the barrier which are a perfect size for bikes, use the bike park areas and you will be just fine, take a lock too as they have chains there for you to use. Oh and I never paid.

Brindleyplace just off broad Street has a Multi Storey with day long parking for a £1. Most of the time when you take the ticket to the office they tell you not to bother paying as you can ride around the barriers :-)
