Potentiality i'm going to see a 675 2009 Daytona, the bad ass.
However the bikes done 19,000 miles! That's huge!
What are you thoughts, obviously the price represents this but is it just too much. What do you think..... :smt017

hmmm this is what im thinking, shouldn't have any issues with it. How many miles do you think you can put on before they start to have any problems though. Ill be doing all the big services sooner than youd expect with an '09. It still has manufacturers warranty until may...

Great... it's been used... any problems would probably have appeared by now.
What's it been used for? If just summer touring, fine. If used all year round check for brake drag and such, find out if exhausts rot etc.

Aye, you know you can actually ride when that wet stuff is falling out of the sky.
TBH this bike has only got one decent years mileage on it... it's only most of them being owned by pooftas that makes it look high mileage.

Ridden regularly, serviced regularly and appropriately, and priced taking into account its milleage, wouldnt put me off TBH...

If it was all track miles I'd mull it over. If it was road miles then fine. If it was commuting then super bonus.

Nice one thank you guys. Lets see where I get tomorrow. :D
Its got a Gel seat so my assumption is tourer commuter as the previous owner.
The only over possibility is that it could be a Press bike, so it could have been put around the tracks throughout Europe. Though that's only me guessing.

Check the service history very carefully. It needs to have been done at the right intervals, fully stamped up (preferably with reciepts)by a Triumph dealer(yes I know technically it can be anyone competant)so that if there are any issues with it the warranty is still valid. Then check it over just like any other used bike and if the price is right go ahead. Is it one owner? That should give you an idea of who used it and for what.

Yeah one owner. Its a friend of a Friend whos selling it. (Owns the Triumph dealer ship) So should all be genuine. FSH etc etc. Ill give it the full works when i see it..

I hardly think 19,000 miles is "huge".

Huge for one year I think though.
Anyway doesn't matter.
I am now the proud owner of a 09 675.

does seem like alot for 1 year, but like others have said if its serviced then not a worry,
you could push for a really good deal because the mileage will put alot of people off
Congratulations! Good choice.
I've got a Triumph off road exhaust if you'd like to purchase it. Not sure if it will fit the '09 but could find out.

Good for you, hope you have many happy miles on it!!
Out of interest, what was its history?

Fully stamped up and service at the correct intervals. Look and felt amazing. The dealer told me he sold it for a Speed Triple 1050 (He showed me on screen) So obviously if hes doing 19k wanted something more comfy and probably wanted to get the best price he could before it was to late i.e one more year and he'd be close to 40k miles.
Bye bye my love, look at your fitter younger sexier replacement. Youll always be my old hag xxx :smt022

No probs. I'm in London too so could even help you fit it. It's not going anywhere for the forseeable future.
