had a similair game involving penguins attacking bears but there were not as many variations on the penguins, just normal and flaming ones that went straight through the ice (structures)

Worked okay for me on android 2.1..it's worth the trouble, try rebooting the phone...

To see the Android version it should be something like Menu->Settings->About Phone->Software Information

If you are running pre 2.1 I would hope there is an update available from the network provider which you can download?

edit: Ouch, can you get a 2.1 update for it?

I've hit check for updates and it tells me I'm up to date. Up to date with 1.6 I'm guessing.

I've done them all except the last page, haven't really tried them yet. They seem to be very easy now that they have the big heavy birds that just knock out everything. I've still got 2 eggs to find

Got it a while back and was totally addicted til I'd finished the whole thing. Then I went back round again and made sure I'd got lots of stars for every level :D

Funny, I'm not usually a computer game fan, I think the music must have some kind of hypnotic quality...whatever it is it makes for a good fix!

Saying that there are 2 of the golden star levels I've been told you HAVE to google to get the answer. I've still not done them, its something to do with playing a tune but I've no idea what tune so Im getting tempted by the google search... then keep thinking the above, no no no! Cheating.

I dunno, I'd like to say trial and error but that would be a fib. Unless the developers give out the solutions people must just persevere I imagine.

Grrr this game makes me made sometimes, given the precision you need to drop the eggs it's really annoying when they don't react to your tap.

And too many times I've used up my last bird, the last pig gets that stupid grin on its face, but the rest of the level is toppling about to crush it... but then the 'FAILED!' screen comes up. If it had kept running a few more seconds, I'd have done it!

I'm doing okay, up to 3-1 now, crushing that tache piggy was very satisfying.

What's might be odd though is despite being 3-1, I can still only select the first chapter (poached eggs) from the menu screen... or are these chapters really really huge?

Iirc you have to finish one chapter before u go onto the next.

Yea it's all about completion for progression, once you've done a level you unlock the next, similar the worlds, similar the chapters. It won't let you just skip to the end. For what it's worth I found it easiest to just complete each level at what ever rating but to then go back once you've completed that world and try get all the levels up to 3 stars. If you're keeping track of your game centre scores, you need to go well beyond the 3 star scores in order to get the awards. Curretly struggling to get the required 4800000 points needed on chapter 3 to get the award, stuck on around 4750000 :( getting frustrated.

Can be done, with out chucking the first bird at the sticking out timber.

Just go for the roof, takes a million attempts to get it just right but it'll get you a 100000 point score, which matters later if you're trying to get all the achievements.

I find too many levels want you to flick the bird (heh) almost straight up. Except, this can mean my finger reaches the edge of the phone before the slingshot is taut, and you can't lift your finger off the screen once you've started drawing the slingshot back as the bird will just flop weakly off it.

Just got this on my Android after someone at work showed it me....

I like it.

Also got one called 'Blow up' which is kind of similar except instead of catapulting birds at the building you have to strategically place dynamite of varying sizes, if you like 'Angry Birds' you'll like 'Blow Up'.

I downloaded the Lite version for my X10 Android Phone. Occasionally it crashes and you have to force close. But I restarted the phone and it works fine! Its pretty cool and strangely addictive.

There is a free full version available on Android but it only works on Android 2.1 OS.

I only have 1.6 installed R2BA026 build, Sony Ericsson say Verison 2.1 Éclair will be available mid November so we Experia X10 users can have even more fun!!

If you go to http://www.getjar.com/ you'll be able to download the apk files for Angry Birds then install them on Android via the SD card, works on my 2.1 Android when the install is only available to 2.2 users...

There may be other apps of interest on there too, I've not looked very recently
