I decided that being covered in a fine layer of concrete dust was no good for the SV (from fitting the ground anchor) so used the lovely weather to give it a going over with the autoglym...

I can't say I hate it, but the fella that fitted it must have had a good night out before he put it on:smt104 It's coming off but I might put some fresh on, anything that makes car drivers take a 2nd look has to be a good thing...

12:30 tomorrow... Mod 2[-o<

The biggest surprise is how little steering lock there is at low speed, closely followed by the mid-range punch of the engine... I love it :D

Congtats on passing, if you'd like a ride Ed's 675 needs a good clean, last time i saw it it had 3" of dust on it.

Been to work on it for the last couple of days, not dirty yet :D

Getting used to it slowly but surely...

I took it on the A1M tonight and there was noting about at all, so it was taken to some mph and since then my helmet is much louder than before, another job for the morning.

120 miles and it's stayed shiny bits up, somehow, the wet roundabout last night must have had diesel on it, front end felt funny and by the time that had registered the back was wobbling (cue expletives and backside doing a rabbits nose impersonation). My crash bungs have arrived and will be fitted when I give it a wash later.

I love this bike :D:D:D

320 miles and all is well, the above diesel incident was more likely the Dunlop Qualifiers (early version) which were stone cold at the time and I have since found out really don't like water very much...

Crash bungs have been fitted and hopefully will never be needed. And I'm still getting used to cornering, but the ride to work at 4AM was treated gently.... Oh and I'm going on it tomorrow too :D

...even if it rains? The correct answer is 'yes'. But if your tyres don't like the rain, change em!!!! Conti RoadAttacks are brilliant in the wet.

Forecast says DRY :) and I was thinking about Dunlop Roadsmart's but my local bike tyre fitter recommends Bridgestone BT21's.... Soo much choice and next to zero experience = confused.
