I really hope i pass this.. anyone have any advice.
I'm doing a training course on thursday 9:00 - 2:00
and test on friday afternoon..
is it hard? easy?
Easy peasy, but still failable.
My instructor basically said remember your life savers, watch your speed and turn your indicators off and there isn't much more they should be able to pick up on as long as you're sensible and react correctly to any hazards that may pop up.

What Reeder said!! If i can pass with a clean sheet it can't be that hard :p
Just try to relax, assume every car is about to do something stupid and be prepared for it, and enjoy yourself. It is definitely the easier of the two parts! xx

Talk to yourself. Not as crazy as it sounds and good advice from my instructor when I did my DAS. As you go round the corner say 'Indicator' out loud, then 'Lifesaver', 'What speed am I doing?' etc. Oh and remember to breathe, do a few long out breaths and think the word 'Relax'. You'll be amazed at how tense you are until you make yourself breathe deeply. Your arms and shoulders stiffen up so give them a wiggle - you may look like you're doing the Birdie Song but they can't fail you for that!

Did mine a couple of weeks ago...
its nice and easy if you just think about what you're doing.. like littlepea said talk to yourself as you do it. Every time you change lanes "mirrors, indicator, check my blindspot then move. indicator off once sorted"
Tester will ALWAYS give you plenty of warning so plenty of time for the mirrors indicator blindspot then position before every turn/ lanechange needed.
and dont forget to STOP at the inevitable one stop sign you will come to and make sure the foot goes down to tick the box :)
Best of luck!

What reeder said.
And doing 'chicken wings' isn't stupid at all, it certainly works when I find myself getting tense.
if you can count to 15 and you haven't done something then you have done wrong.
observation, confidence and smoothness.
You MUST get the obbos right, particularly when crossing traffic, even when changing lane. If you don't = fail.
Hope all goes well for you mate. Looking forward to reading that you passed:cool:

Its simple really, if you change direction, look to the place where your moving too, if you're moving left, look left etc.
Make a point of letting the examiner see you look in your mirrors by moving your head.

Position your mirroros so that you have to turn your head to see in them.
Remember to check your mirrors before you slow / stop.
Relax because you know you can do it :D
When they get you to pull up on the side of the road, pull up a nice distance away from any other parked cars.
I made a rookie mistake of pulling up too close to a parked car and I made pulling back out a nightmare for me and almost shot over into the other side of the road.
Also make it clear you're checking your mirrors with tiny little nods to emphasise. Otherwise it's a chilling and a loada fun. Mod 2's been one of my most fun rides to date believe it or not.
good luck mate, hopefully you get a crap instructor who goes out in a car, because when i did my test, we pulled to the end of the road from test centre, i had enough room to get out but he didnt, so i had 3 cars between me and the guy so i had a few minutes to relax myself,
cant emphasise enough, like everyone else, your lifesavers and mirrors,
i had a sneaky test because literally at the gate of the test centre, they have put a stop sign in so you have to remember that your being marked until you get off the bike at the end.
Good luck for friday, Lifesavers and observation when entering and leaving speed limit areas are vital, make sure you make your obs obvious to the examiner, if necessary look past your mirrors or even position them so that you have to move your head, he can't see your eyes move. Above all try to relax and you'll be fine.

+1 on that, My instructor kept picking me up on this.... i was LOOKING in my mirrors but not moving my head enough, so he said the examiner might miss me doing it!
You might look like a little bit of a **** but make sure you slightly exagerate your mirror checks! :D

Daryl.
Im not sure if you're saying that you need to do a lifesaver when changing speed limits, but if you are that isn't correct. You only need to do a mirror check.
