It's now five months since I broke my back, I'm still waiting for the insurance but I've managed to save £2500 for a bike.
I thought how do i follow my SV, and came up with a 600 inline four of course! :s

Triumph speed four.

After the SV the S4 feels like a crazy giant wasp! it reminds me of my RD350LC it screams and then the power kicks in and it pulls like stink to 14000.
Low revs it acts like a CB250 and when you're coming from an SV you get used to low revs.

I love it already the gearbox is so smooth and the suspension and brakes make it feel totally under control.
I miss the torque of the SV but soon forget when howling round the moors if i dare say it it's way more fun than my SV but I'm not sure if it's as practicle yet only time will tell!

Sorry pics don't seem to drag n drop

Cheers Andy and no we haven't had the do cos someone broke into the studio and nicked the PA system.
I would love to hire a speed four for the track but I know i'd end up binning it and I've got to make this bike last.

224 miles in now, I went to 'Devils' today then up to Hawes passed 'Ribble' I have to say the same as Mel i didn't realise the SV was quite so budget until now, clunky gearbox real viby ride and quik to run out of power! I bet my poor SV is crying it's eyes out in the garage next to my S4.
