The are pretty much on excatly the same latitude... but I guess if you wanted to be really anal about it then Berlin is right ;)

well acording to google maps, and me balancing a sraight edge on the bottom of my moniter edinburgh is furthest west.

Neither, everybody knows Edinburgh is in the East of Scotland and where Carlisle is doesn't matter 'cos it's in Sassenach land.

I used to use the old question
which is most west
Edinburgh, Liverpool, Bristol

Edinburgh is most west
and Bristol most East

Usually caused a few arguments
