Leave the hairdryer at home and replace it with a puncture outfit------;)

Actually considering how much tyres have gone up and as you were probably ride in ride out is it such a bad price.

It is, but then I noticed when we were away with Quiff in August, how much more expensive everything is in France at the moment.

Why pay any attention to some frogs about plugging tyres? If in the very unlikely event anything gets said then you obviously plugged it back in civilisation?!

We did plug it at first, however Quiff didn't want to take a chance on riding it 2up with luggage.

After a lot of buggering about we initially found a local place that would do a proper patch on the inside. When we went to pick the bike up, they advised that the sidewalls were knackered on the inside - the puncture had happened when we were caning it back to the house from the south of France at night, doing about 150kph.

When we eventually found a place that could supply a new tyre 5 days later, we had a look at the inside of the old storm when they took it off - the sidewalls did indeed look a bit shagged, so it was probably a good chance that we didn't just take a chance with the plug.

Sounds about right for a set of Pilot Road 2's, RRP for a rear is about £160 + vat if i remember correctly

Euro's not in our favour at the mo

Plus they knew he was from Roast Biefland, so an extra 25% on top

Remember Agincourt

Pilot Road 2ct is an expensive tyre Mich rrp £255 Demontweaks £235 so plus the ridein ride out charge only about the same or slightly more than you would pay here if going to the nearest tyre shop without shopping about first.
