Dear orgers, a very good friend of mine is in desperate need of some free downloadable maths fonts for a course she is currently on, could anyone direct me, PLEEAAASSSSE! :D

If she downloads OpenOffice it has a Maths application in it which may furnish her with the fonts she needs - and may even be useful to prepare what she needs to produce in.

why not use the word equation editor, it is fairly comprehensive and word has most symbols as well
