Saw this at the local dealers and fell in love with it so swapped it for the sv.
1995 rr-s 893cc, mint condition, and goes like stink. Really smooth engine. Love it!

Looks like a minter that, dunno what it was valued at or what your SV was worth, but you're happy, well done.

Wow that looks great - a shame to make it a winter hack!

I just got fed up of getting wet through with the naked sv, i had some silly idea about getting a maxi scooter so i went to have a look today at the dealers.
When i saw this i had to have it and to be honest as much as i really wanted a burgman i would have probably got ripped for getting a scooter.
And its not really a hack as im a fair weather biker these days so only use it when bbc, met offce and weather.com concur there will be no rain.

I have seen quite a few early `Blades and they are in amazing condition , mate in work let an "N" reg go for a Grand ... absolutely gutted as I could have bought it and flogged it on for a fair bit more :)

Woo hoo early crimbo present for me!
The blade has a scorpion exhaust on it and I got the box for the scorpion but didn't look inside as I just assumed it was the original blade can.
Anyway I had a look at it today and inside the box instead of the original can there was a 'practically' brand new moto arbo carbon stubby can worth 200 squid (Moto arbo were Beowulf b4 they were called Beowulf)
Well chuffed!!!
Best thing is I was planning on buying a Beowulf stainless stubby as I love the sound of Beowulf, so this has saved me a few quid.

I don't do winter riding anyway, as soon as the grit is on the ground I'm in the 5h1tbox micra. :pukel:

You still got your blade then? Done a real good job of selling it haven't you? Someone might say you didn't really want to sell it.;)

I didn't try to sell it? Only the scorpion can which I'll have to keep as the new can is a proper bacon alerter!
love the older blades , look a cracker :)
