Helmet - what to get now?

Having hit my head on the curb in my first off I presume my shoei raid 2 is no longer road worthy. Can it be checked out by anyone? What would anyone suggests of a similar price and quality?

Also where should I buy from?

Nec bike show is to far away to wait really as the bike is the only form of transport.

I was looking at other shoei ie xr or the new quest etc however I thought about hjc arai don't seem to fit, but roof look nice and the schu... Seem nice but expensive just though I would get some ideas.

I think the quest is meant to be the new raid... worth trying one on. XR has more vents and is a bit louder than the raid but are very good lids

I have an XR1000, Really good fit, but a little loud.

Back to my original post though. If I had had an off an survived after butting a kerb, I know what I would be buying.

HG have got the Raid 2 with a bit knocked off cos the new Quest has come out. I would start there.

From the number of spares to replace broken parts I sell for Shoeis id buy a Shoei!!! (sold none other than bits and bobs to replace bits the owner had broken!)

But as others pointed out, the raid is the obvious choice as my head bounced off the road and curb in one . My heads in one piece so I trust it to protect my head with confidence. Not that others wouldn't.
