Hi folks,

Well, I'm thinking of selling up, and so this is merely gauging interest.

There are several reasons for the sale, which I am willing to go into in PM.
As for pictures, I have not taken any yet because it's dark and hail stones are falling currently, but pictures are available on request. (I have some older ones but more recent ones can be taken as you wish.)

Onto the bike: It is a K9 Sv650sport which was pre-registered by my dealer. I picked it up new years eve, and since then it has covered 10,000 miles. Mostly commuting but also to the AR and to Scotland.

It has had 4 services in this time. The first service carried out by dealer, and then 3 services carried out by myself and the occasionally assistance from Dicky_Ticker.

The bike is in good overall condition, it has a scorpion street extreme can (origional included), it has lower fairings R&G crash bungs on fairings + swingarm.

It has mini indies on the front, but standard indicators on the rear.
Datatag
Datatool S4 alarm (all paperwork for above two included and dealer fitted)

R&G tail tidy fitted

The last service was about 750 miles ago when it had air filter, plugs, oil, oil filter etc done.

Viewings are welcome, I'm in Rayleigh, Essex, and I'm looking for around £3,600 but open to offers. The bike is in good condition. It does have finance outstanding, so I would appreciate payment to Close Motor Finance. If there is any outstanding amount, I am happy to pay over the phone at the same time.

I am open to offers, and at current, just gauging interest.

That bit about the finance is likely ro put people off. I wouldn't touch a bike under these circumstancies.

Prehaps you should say you will sort the fianance bit out?

Or maybe it's me being piccy?

What's the issue? If you pay finance you know it's paid right?
If I have a buyer, who has cash, has put a deposit down, and wants me to sort finance then I can do that. I'd have no qualms about paying finance on a vehicle then owning it.

No issue at all, I am just saying it would put me off. If it puts me off then it is likely to put others off. Or maybe I am just being picky.

Good luck with the sale.

Dave,

I would say its better that you pay the finance off yourself and then exchange V5 Docs afterwards. :-)

Why you selling anyhow?

I sold my vehicle to someone who paid the remaining sum off through the finance company.

Doesn't put people off at all - just don't mention it in the advert, let people enquire and then tell them. Shows your honesty :)

I might not sell, but I fancy a change.
Coming up to Insurance renewal, letting fate decide. If it goes before insurance time, then I'll replace, if it doesn't go, I'll keep it.

Good luck Dave :) Thoughts on what you might want to replace it with yet?

Fair enough Dave! I thought about selling mine recently as I really liked the look of DMC's GSXR600.

Love the Matt Black version, but I'm hoping next year I will have both. :-P

The finance thing is perfectly normal, any realistic buyer should be fine topay it over the phone when the they have viewed the bike.

It snot rocket science to be honest, good luck with the sale.

Cheers

Alex
