Its been 18months since I binned my Tuono and hung my boots up whilst i got married and sorted my life out a bit...

a very long 18 months..

Now I am happily married but with life no more sorted out we thought we would live a little and get back on two wheels...

http://i.ebayimg.com/17/!B5EZn,gBWk~$(KGrHqMOKm4E)6t92wdMBMsPYMHWVw~~_12.J PG

Its a 2003 with 20k miles 1 owner and I pick it up in about a months time, maybe sooner depending If I can get up north to collect it any sooner.

Any way the plan is France, Ireland, Scotland bit of Wales, and as much of east Anglia as possible..

see you all on the other side of Christmas

Alex

I had an SY 2 back in 08 along side the tuono,

I cant afford both now or in the foreseeable future and as much as I had lined up a tuono to test ride with a better saddle it wasnt ever going to be suitable to tour on.

I had test ridden the Tiger and two Multistrada's before deciding that for 3 or 4 times the price tag they were a no better bike comfort wise etc

Bought it off ebay blind, havent yet seen it or tested it but you know.. it had to be balanced up..

After a few months of your ownership, BBD, I'm sure Daisy will be in need of a full wheels-up restoration :p

Me Skip, & SvRich rode out to Southwold for fish & chips in December last year. If the weathers nice then don't rule Jan or Feb out

We did indeed - so wish I had made more effort to wash the bike down afterwards - it wasnt keen on the layer of salt that sat on it for 2 weeks! :(

I'll be riding all winter. If it's chips you want then Southwold would be good again. And I'll be putting a route together * for March if anyone can bring themselves to get that cold again.
* By putting a route together I mean finding the old one and making it a bit shorter over the second half. But also making sure we get to the same pub for the raffle!

Pre Christmas Fish & chips again, sounds good to me :riding:

As for planning the March rideout, will you be attending or keeping to the new tradition of not riding your own rideout :D

The Bury to Southwold was the bit Skip and a few of us did last year. And the 'Tourist Route' across to the A12 was the end of Kelly's route a few weeks ago. Both were good stretches that I'd like to do again some time.
