Victor Devines at Finneston. An easy walk east from the SECC, for shiny Hondas.
There is also the new Victory dealer about there somewhere, across the clydeside expressway I think.

Yeah ATV Adventure opposite the Citreon dealer Beside McDonalds.
There is also Ducati Glasgow on Great Western Road a bit out the way but you could take the underground to St Georges Cross and walk from there.

Also Mickey Oates Suzuki dealer, also a bit out the way on North Canal Bank Street. Wouldn't buy any bike from him but worth a look like!

shiny Hondas
Well if shiny is the thing, Harley Davidson in North Street is just a short walk from the Victory dealers. You know, en route to the Ducati shop :-)

Partial to that XR1200X though....
Harleys are doing a halloween thingy with food and stuff so take your licence and gear you may get a free no presssure test ride.

Ducati Glasgow will no doubt be good for a walk around if its not to far out.
My cousin Anne works in the Suzuki Dealership.

I was going to buy my SV in there in Feb 09. Everytime I go in to look at bikes i've never been asked if a needed a hand. I was making it obvious I was interested in the SV by continually looking at, walking away and coming back to it. Then I thought i will sit on it to get some attention, I sat on the bike and was told to get off :(
Not sure why they werent interested in selling me a bike, might have been the joggin trousers I had on at the time lol
Plus I find them too expensive even compared with other Suzuki dealers. They wanted 5549 for the bike and I was able to get it from Suzuki North Harbour in Ayr for 4700 brand new SK9 Sport model.
I can't comment on their services etc as i've only had a rear tyre fitted to the SV. It was a BT021 and was charged £145 which I thought was a wee bit pricey. Although one good thing was I turned up unannounced with the puncture and they put the new rear tyre on within 2 hours :-)
Booked in for a test ride on a Harley! Variety is the spice of life.

Just thought i'd give it a go! Nice noise and actually quite fun, bit like a fairground ride:D
Not be chopping the SV in anytime soon tho' especially when this bike is £15,500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

West coast have a lot of demo bikes not afraid to give you a go unlike the others that dont want to get them dirty
Absolutely can't fault West Coast, really looked after me and the family yesterday. Best bike dealer ever been in.
I recommend going for a demo - really didn't get H-D but after riding the fat boy round the block, came back with big smile. :riding:
Its just a shame the riders aren't as friendly as the dealers!:smt102

At the prices they charge for their antiquated hunks of metal they have to be nice!!!
but yes they are a decent bunch, better than the bunch round the corner!!!

I took a Buell out from there too. They even asked how much I weighed so they could set up the suspension properly. Really friendly and helpful, but I just don't get the whole Harley thing (although the Buell made me laugh as it was so much fun).
I also got a shot of a F800S from Motorrad Central in Bishopbriggs. Again, mega-friendly and really, genuinely enthusiastic about BMs.
Harleys and BMWs ? I must be getting old !!!
(although the Buell made me laugh as it was so much fun).
Thats IT ! - I've decided that's the Harley thing, you know its ridiculous, but it makes you smile!:smt040
Yeah but the BMW thing that is .................(please feel free to fill in the space, suggestions welcome, you could use old, embaressing, sad, wanting to be ewan&charlie(for GS riders), etc)

The Harley thing - you know it's ridiculous, and it makes you shake your head in despair !!!!
Actually, that's not really fair - who am I to judge. A bike's a bike and I'd rather have a Harley than none, but I think they work better in California than Carluke ......
