Completely random but a good show I think :D
Very random. Enjoyable though. Especially when TG returns, i think, next week, but dont quote me on that. 2 Hours, sunday evening dedicated to blokes :)

Was only allowed to watch a few minutes of it (wife and daughter said I'd hogged the TV enough already watching MotoGP). The army bloke telling him off for not polishing his boots right was quite funny. Shame there was already two things in the planner that clashed - hello i-Player...

The choice of presenter is a little ironic, girly boy himself.

I disagree, I think he makes a good candidate for a general "bloke". Bear Grylls probably would not be the best person to present this :)
I think he's cheerfully childish, rather than girly :)

I caught the bit about men not knowing how to change a plug. I mean that is scary, how do you cope when you need to change the plug on your hair straighteners or electric fingernail buffer these days?
Just watched it on Iplayer.
Those were the worst fish fingers I have ever seen, the kitchen worktop looked awful, the bomb exploded, the geeky kid didn't pull the bird and the train track system was a bit Heath Robinson to say the least.
Not really the best advice being given out.
Entertaining program nonetheless.

Not sure I'd call him girly but I concede he's not exactly the pinnacle of man-ly-ness-ness.
If he'd been at my school I'm sure he would have taken a few beatings from the 'bigger' boys :eye:

You dont have to be a 3rd gen kung fu grand master to be a man you know, knowing your way round an engine and not liking pink is a good start :)

LOL
What's wrong with pink?
I think she's hot!
I'm 6ft 2 and I got the snot kicked out of me by the bigger boys, I'm certain Mr May would have been on the hit list.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder & I believe me I'd hold her!
My mates routinely ask me 'why the hell is he on Top Gear?' to which I add, 'because he does a bang up job'. Let's be right, he does know his shnizzle!

Agreed, motorcycle parts in the bath, old british bikes, love of old british sports cars and he owns either a bentley or a rolls royce. He doesnt care about fashion or image. Hence why his day to day car is a fiat panda.
