Hi

Still looking to replace sv

Have found another possible bike which I'm going to see tomorrow

The bike has some scraches on the LHS lower , does not look like more than an accidental stationary drop by photos but will take a look in the flesh tomorrow

what do u recon regarding the panel damage as long as rest of bike looks pucker do u recon its worth a punt ?

Cheers Steveg

If its only cosmetic and you are not fussed then why not.

We bought our 1st Sv with the usual crack in the fairing around the indicator. Guy reckoned it was from a stationary drop. We believed him and luckily time showed that he was a honest kid.

If the scratches are in keeping with a stationary drop, checking out other vunerable parts for marks on the same side, talking to the seller about them, and if you really will be happy to live with them, than why not?

most used bikes have been on the floor at some point in their lives, id prefere to see a few scratches than something covered up.
